Pottu Kadalai (Roasted Gram) Laddu

This is my all time favourite sweet, I can eat handful of them at a time, anytime, anywhere... :) You guessed it. I have a very sweet tooth!

So simple to make and yet tastes so yummy.

Method:

Take one cup roasted gram (pottu kadalai) and 1/2 cup brown sugar (or any sugar), grind this with 1/4 tbsp cardamom powder.

After this grinds as a powder, add cashews and grind in pulse just enough to break the cashews to small bits.

In a small pan, heat 2 tbsp ghee. When it gets warm and liquid, pour it into the above mixture and mix with hand without lumps.

Once mixed well, make firm round balls.

That's it, yummy tasty Maa-laddus are ready to eat! Don't forget to post your comments!!!
