Broccoli Pulao

This is sure to become your kid's favorite lunch box item. My fussy toddler likes this, so rest assured.



Ingredients:

One Broccoli - Small florets with hard stems removed
Onion - Preferably white - 1 thinly sliced
Garlic finely chopped- i spoon
Chinese Fragrant rice - 1/2 cup - COOKED
coconut milk - thin consistency 1/2 cup
jeera - 1/2 spoon

Method:

Cook rice with 1/2 cup coconut milk and 1/2 cup water.

Add jeera to 2 spoons oil/Ghee initially in a wok, thereafter add sliced onions and garlic in low flame (if it tends to stick, sprinkle little water),add Broccoli toss and close till it cooks. Then add the cooked rice, fry in a little high flame and add little salt.

The flavour of this rice along with Broccoli is awesome and Broccoli gives that sweet tinge to the dish. Kids would enjoy eating this rice.
