Bombay Toast is a very nutritious breakfast that kids will instantly like. In the mornings, this can be substituted for cornflakes, bread-jam etc. This is a blend of egg, milk and sugar(I have used brown sugar), perfect for a light breakfast for early mornings. This toast can be prepared in a jiffy, in less than 5 minutes.
Coming to the recipe...
Whole meal bread or white bread - 2 slices
To blend
Milk - 1/2 cup boiled and cooled
Sugar - 2 to 3 tbsp (Use brown sugar as it is healthier)
Egg - 1
Method:
- Take the ingredients under "To blend" and beat well till it frothes.
- Heat a pan and drizzle a spoon of butter. (this must be ready before moving onto the next step)
- Now, soak the two slices of bread one by one into the egg, milk and sugar mix. Just dip so that it quotes well on both sides and immediately put it on the hot pan.
- Roast on both sides till brown.
Yummy bombay toast is ready to eat !!!
